    Review by hotel critic

As a landscape photographer passionately exploring Canada's beauty, my recent stay at the Aurora Bayside Inn in Yellowknife was a culinary delight intertwined with the whimsical magic of the Northern Lights. Nestled on the shores of a serene lake, the inn's floating dock provided a tranquil spot to soak in the essence of the midnight sun, offering a unique perspective for my photography. My gastronomic journey commenced at the adjoined café, where I savored a gourmet breakfast at Dancing Moose, setting the tone for a day filled with adventure. The innovative dishes at the restaurant, Barren Ground Coffee, reflected a perfect blend of local flavors, subtly tantalizing my taste buds with each bite.Intrigued by the local culinary scene, I ventured to Bullock's Bistro and Weaver & Devore Trading, both a stone's throw away, indulging in regional delicacies that left a lasting impression on my palate.the Aurora Bayside Inn not only provided a cozy retreat but also opened doors to a gastronomic exploration I will cherish, mirroring the vibrant essence of Canadian wilderness that resonates with my artistic soul.
